Got some great news to share with you all.
Meat and Potatoes
To start things off..
I just got back from a trip to Sioux Falls, a bigger city than I’ve been to in a long time.
I’ve been in small town Iowa now for coming up on 2 years and have neglected the opportunity to travel.
Until now.
Caught me in the moment 😳
I’ve been seeing somebody who’s relit the spark in me to travel.
To get outside of what I know.
Before, I would’ve never thought of to leave town for even just a day.
I never realized how much could change in so little time.
I used to always say, “life can change in the blink of an eye”
And it’s true…
I finally became commissionable at my sales job, despite heavy pressure against me.
I showed them who’s boss lol.
I walked up in there like I owned the place, and I did. It worked.
I got what I wanted— To better serve the team and our customers.
It’s maddening that somebody on the team wouldn’t want to see my success..
Oh well.. Too bad lol
I picked up my torch and I’m not letting it go out.
Nobody can diminish my light.
No matter what they do, I control how I respond.

When I got back from the cities, here’s 3 lessons I wrote down in my journal:
Traveling opens you up to so many more new opportunities. Like cool places to see, visit, and people to meet. You never know who or what you might stumble across. Highly recommend with your best friend.
Everything you want is just outside your comfort zone. Do the hard thing. Go for the run, go lift the weights, just do it. You’ll thank yourself later. Every time.
You’re where you’re meant to be always. Don’t forget it. Don’t constantly be looking for a confirmation. Confirm it yourself. Feel it in your bones.
