First Course

Welcome back to the 5th ever High Vibe Tribe newsletter!

This weeks’ been all about expanding and growing in my personal life and professional development as well..

Meat and Potatoes

To start things off..

I wanted to just let y’all know that the website has been coming a lot epically!!

My team and I are working very hard on getting Optimum’s mission out there!

I officially launched the liveoptimum.co Instagram available now here!

I’m really beyond excited to get going on the content marketing side of things..

Right now my idea is to document the ENTIRE startup process:

Initial startup, inventory, getting the products, webdev stuff, setbacks/hurdles, what it takes to succeed, tips and advice, or really anything valuable

Going forward, I think people have already caught on to the whole perfectly curated brand post feed..

I don’t think it resonates as much as a story can.

With my first supplement company, Ascent Nutrition, there was a lot of ‘advice’ out there on the internet, but what worked for us, and what ultimately works in life is just building trust and putting in the actual work to build relationships.

With your customers, partners, influencers, brand ambassadors, etc.

This time around, there’s a lot of things I will by doing differently.. Trying new things just for the sake of trying them!

After all, that’s what the spirit of Entrepreneurship is -

Throwing sh*t at the wall to see what sticks!! 💩🤣

Kinda like when I tried to do the whole college thing!

I ended up going for enterprise leadership; basically, a 4 year entrepreneurial degree..

But I realized I was learning how to start a business from people who’d never started a business before.

Therefore, they couldn’t teach me what they did not know.

So I dropped out after 2 years…

But had I never went.. Had I never put myself out there.. Had I never TRIED!!..

I would have never made all those friends, would have never had those college life experiences, would have never have met my first business partner..

Would have never had started that first company.

From the limited experience during my 24 year tenure here on Earth, here’s a few things I’ve learned on my journey..

Listen to yourself
- Don’t become someone else’s puppet - I mean ANYONE, your family, friends, colleagues, etc.. NOBODY knows what’s better for you than YOU do!
Become a Life long learner
- Learning doesn’t STOP when you graduate from high school, it only begins.. Learning doesn’t STOP when you graduate from college, it’s just getting started.. Learning never stops.
The best way to learn is to learn from someone who’s already done it
- Pretty straight-forward. If you wanna go somewhere, but you’ve never been before, it’s wayy easier to travel with someone who’s already been there done that, who has the map, the blueprint.
Follow your passion
- You’re never gonna think your way to success. It starts in the heart. You’ve gotta want it.. You’ve gotta have that fire.. That burning desire.. The HUNGER to succeed. The DRIVE to win at all costs. So if what you’re doing doesn’t excite you enough to jump out of bed, then reconsider your priorities.
There’s a lot of fish in the sea
- Last one I wanted to throw in.. From my experience, I’d get so caught up with a girl, just to forget Who I am, What my purpose is, or Why we're even together.. Do not take yourself for granted.. There are soooo many women in the world. Don’t put any one on a pedestal. Do not lose your focus. Stay the course. Embrace the journey alone, while you continuously work on becoming the best version of yourself to attract your divine counterpart..
- ^That last part was more just for me.
